Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Outpatient GI Endoscopy Center | Southern Fort Myers, FL

Join our established outpatient gastroenterology and endoscopy center in beautiful southern Fort Myers as a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). Position Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia for outpatient gastroenterology and endoscopy procedures including colonoscopies, upper endoscopies (EGDs), and advanced GI interventions
• Perform comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments and patient evaluations
• Monitor patient vital signs and anesthesia levels throughout procedures to ensure optimal safety and comfort
• Manage post-anesthesia care and recovery, ensuring patients meet discharge criteria
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records systems
• Collaborate with gastroenterologists, nursing staff, and surgical technicians to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
• Work autonomously within scope of practice in a supportive, team-oriented environment

Required Qualifications

• Current Florida CRNA license in good standing
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia educational program
• Active certification from the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Commitment to patient safety and quality care standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in gastroenterology or endoscopy settings
• Outpatient or ambulatory surgery center experience
