Shipping Manager

We are seeking a Shipping Manager in the Hauppauge area. If you have experience overseeing people in the warehouse/shipping, experience managing incoming parts, processing customer orders and maintaining inventory, please apply. salary: $62,400 - $65,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Manage all incoming parts inquiries via phone and email; provide quotes, lead times, and order confirmations in an organized manner.
• Process customer orders accurately and ensure timely fulfillment and shipping. Orders received by  noon should ship the  same day if the item is in stock.
• Send customers an  email confirmation with tracking information once their order has shipped.
• Act as the primary liaison between customers, suppliers, and internal departments (production, purchasing, accounting).
• Coordinate with carriers and freight forwarders to schedule and track outgoing shipments.
• Oversee and assist with packing, labeling, and documentation for domestic and international shipments.
• Coordinate with the Shipping Assistant who is responsible for receiving and order picking.
