Clinical Operations Manager

The Clinical Operations Manager is responsible for providing direct clinical services while overseeing clinical quality, operational excellence, provider development, and staff support. This role balances patient care with leadership responsibilities to ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based services and the ongoing growth of clinical staff.​The Clinical Operations Manager maintains a caseload of approximately 15 patients per week while dedicating substantial time to supervision, training, quality assurance, and operational management functions.​Key Responsibilities Clinical Service DeliveryMaintain a direct clinical caseload of approximately 15 patients per week.Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions and treatment planning.Complete all required clinical documentation within established timelines.Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient outcomes.​Leadership, Management, and Accountability (LMA)Provide leadership, management, and accountability for clinical operations and provider performance.Monitor operational workflows and implement process improvements.Support organizational goals and strategic initiatives.Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.​Customer Service ExcellencePromote exceptional patient and family experiences.Address patient concerns and service issues in a timely and professional manner.Support providers in maintaining high standards of communication and customer service.Monitor service delivery and patient satisfaction metrics.​Therapy and Intervention Service AuditsConduct routine audits of treatment plans, clinical documentation, and intervention services.Ensure compliance with organizational standards, payer requirements, and regulatory guidelines.Identify opportunities for quality improvement and corrective action.Track and report quality assurance outcomes.​Reflective SupervisionProvide ongoing reflective supervision and consultation to therapists.Support clinical decision-making, case conceptualization, and ethical practice.Facilitate professional growth and self-reflection among providers.Assist clinicians in managing complex cases and professional challenges.​Provider Training and Quality ControlDevelop and facilitate ongoing provider training programs.Monitor adherence to clinical protocols and best practices.Conduct quality assurance reviews and performance evaluations.Provide coaching and feedback to improve service delivery and clinical outcomes.​Staff Development and Clinical MentorshipGuide therapists in expanding clinical competencies and developing specialized skills.Create individualized professional development plans.Support leadership development and career advancement opportunities.Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional excellence. Qualifications​RequiredMaster's degree or higher in PT, SLP, OT, SPED, Mental Health or related field.Active, unrestricted clinical licensure.Minimum of three (3) years of direct clinical experience.Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory, management, or leadership experience.Strong knowledge of quality assurance, compliance standards, and clinical documentation requirements.Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.​PreferredExperience conducting clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.Experience developing and delivering provider training programs.Knowledge of reflective supervision models.Experience in early intervention, outpatient therapy, and home health settings.
