Logistics Specialist II

Logistics Specialist II supporting clinical trials supply chain operations at Thermo Fisher Scientific's Breinigsville facility. The role coordinates shipments, manages customs compliance, tracks inventory, and maintains vendor relationships while ensuring regulatory standards in a multi-regional environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate shipments, manage customs compliance, and handle inventory management across regions
- Optimize logistics efficiency while maintaining quality and regulatory compliance standards
- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external logistics partners
- Track logistics KPIs and metrics; identify and implement process improvements
- Manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment with flexible scheduling support
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent with at least 3 years of logistics experience
- Bachelor's degree with 2 years of logistics experience in multi-regional environment preferred
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of international trade compliance, customs regulations, and shipping documentation
- Experience with temperature-controlled and regulated shipments preferred
- Familiarity with GMP, GDP, and relevant quality standards
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed
