PackerAs a Packer, you will plan, prepare, and pack products using standard boxes, crates, or skids for shipments. You will construct both standard and nonstandard boxes and select materials for packing to protect products by bracing or blocking them to prevent shifting or damage during transit. Additionally, you will check packing lists to ensure the inclusion of required components and parts and visually inspect products in detail while minimizing scrap. One side is specifically dedicated to medical customers. The work environment requires being on your feet for the majority of the day, and you may need to work shifts from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM or 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with incremental or Saturday shifts as needed. The role demands wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and being prepared for physically demanding tasks.Job Type & Location:This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntley, IL.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
