Position Overview

Stand-By Personnel is seeking dependable Order Pickers / Packers to join a busy distribution center in Oklahoma City. This position is responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing merchandise for shipment to retail locations while maintaining high standards for quality, accuracy, and productivity.

The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, pays close attention to detail, and takes pride in meeting daily production goals.

Required Experience & Skills
• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience required (3+ years preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Basic computer skills required
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Pick and pack merchandise accurately for shipment to retail locations
• Verify item numbers, quantities, and packing labels to ensure order accuracy
• Inspect merchandise for damage or quality concerns before shipment
• Use RF scanners and warehouse tracking systems to record inventory movement when applicable
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse best practices
• Meet established productivity, quality, and accuracy goals
• Work closely with supervisors and team members to achieve daily department objectives
• Perform additional warehouse and distribution duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications
• Previous order picking, packing, shipping, or distribution center experience
• Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Inventory control or material handling experience
• Forklift experience is a plus

Physical Requirements
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching, and repetitive movement throughout the shift
• Comfortable performing physically demanding warehouse work for extended periods
• Ability to safely work around warehouse equipment while wearing required PPE

Work Environment
• Fast-paced distribution center and warehouse environment
• Exposure to shipping operations, inventory systems, palletized merchandise, and warehouse equipment
• Team-oriented workplace focused on safety, accuracy, and productivity
• Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs
