This role requires working in an all-adult, acute care Level 1 Trauma Center environment, utilizing advanced medical devices such as the PB 980 and V60 ventilators. Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist

• Confirm physician orders, assess appropriateness, and ensure quality patient care.
• Explain treatment procedures and address patient concerns or questions.
• Perform respiratory/pulmonary procedures per department policy or protocol.
• Participate in emergencies, including performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
• Contribute to patient care teams and quality improvement programs.

Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist

• 2+ years of recent experience in respiratory care.
• RRT preferred, but CRT accepted with appropriate experience.
• Proficiency with PB 980, PB 840, V60 ventilators, and other related equipment.
