Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Role in The Dalles OR you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a leading tech location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas perform mobile patrols remain visible to help deter security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license. Guided by teamwork integrity and a people-first culture you will support a professional and innovative environment.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees contractors and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings controlled areas parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials visitor logs and delivery activity in accordance with site protocols for a highly controlled operational environment.
• Support ongoing site operations by reporting maintenance concerns policy violations and/or suspicious activity and by preparing clear accurate incident and activity reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
