Remote Sales Consultant

People rarely buy life insurance because they're excited about it. They buy it because they've looked at their mortgage and quietly wondered what would happen to the house if their paycheck stopped one day. Helping people answer that question is what this role is about. Coates Insurance Group is hiring remote agents to help homeowners and households understand their life insurance and mortgage protection options. You'll manage your own schedule, have experienced people in your corner, and get a clear path to take on more as you get stronger in the work. No prior insurance or sales experience is required. If you're new to the industry, we'll walk you through the licensing process and give you the training and coaching you need to get started with confidence. What you'll do Most of your time will be spent talking with people who have asked for information about coverage, learning what's going on in their lives, and helping them find a plan that fits. That includes: Meeting with prospective clients by phone or video Asking good questions to understand their needs, priorities, and budget Explaining coverage options in plain, honest language Guiding clients through the application process Following up and keeping your pipeline organized Taking part in training and coaching to keep improving You won't be left to figure it out alone. You'll have ongoing training, experienced agents to learn from, and a team you can lean on when a situation is new. Agents also have access to a lead system made up of people who have requested information about coverage, so your conversations start with someone who asked to hear from you. Where this can go Everyone starts in sales, and that's where your focus will be at first. As you build experience and consistency, there can be room to help newer agents and, over time, step into larger leadership responsibilities. We care more about steady improvement than a perfect resume. People who do well here are coachable, dependable, and comfortable talking with people. They can keep themselves moving while working remotely, they follow through, and they want to get better at something that actually helps others. Before you apply You don't need any insurance background to be considered.
