About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Global Member Engagement Officer (CGMEO) to take on a senior executive leadership role with a focus on enhancing the engagement, value, and impact of its global membership and volunteer community. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic oversight of member and volunteer engagement, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategy and governance best practices. This includes leading the development and execution of membership policies, programs, and benefits to attract, retain, and engage a diverse global membership. The CGMEO will also serve as the organization's senior executive leader for governance, overseeing the selection, onboarding, and effectiveness of global, regional, and professional boards, and ensuring that governance structures and practices are in line with the organization's bylaws and standards. Applicants for the CGMEO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of leadership experience within a professional association, nonprofit, or membership-based organization. A strong understanding of association governance models, volunteer leadership structures, and board-staff roles is essential. The role requires a proven ability to build and sustain trusted relationships, lead and influence across a cross-functional organization, and make data-informed decisions. Experience in global association or multinational membership organization, as well as a background in the security field, is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree or a Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation, with a track record of leading enterprise-wide strategic initiatives and a deep working knowledge of association governance.
