Supervisor, Clinical Education

| Health Care District of Palm Beach County Where Every Career Begins with Care. The Health Care District of Palm Beach County is looking for an experienced clinical education leader to join our team as Supervisor, Clinical Education. This role provides leadership for clinical education programs that support the readiness, competency, professional development, and ongoing growth of our clinical workforce. The Supervisor, Clinical Education will oversee programs spanning clinical orientation and onboarding, competency assessment and validation, continuing education, staff development, preceptor development, in-service education, simulation, and other clinical learning initiatives across the organization. This is an opportunity for an experienced nurse educator and leader to make an organization-wide impact while developing a team of Clinical Educators and partnering closely with clinical leaders, subject-matter experts, and organizational partners. What You'll Do Supervise, coach, and develop Clinical Educators while promoting consistent educational practices across clinical settings. Lead the planning, development, implementation, standardization, and evaluation of evidence-based clinical education programs. Oversee clinical orientation, onboarding, competency assessment, and validation programs. Partner with clinical leaders and subject-matter experts to identify learning, performance, and competency needs. Develop and maintain curricula, presentations, instructional materials, and other educational resources. Oversee in-service education and competency-based learning related to clinical practice, equipment, technology, policies, procedures, and identified performance needs. Support the development of preceptors, mentors, instructors, and other employees responsible for workplace learning. Coordinate education related to new equipment, technologies, electronic health records, medications, clinical practices, and workflow changes. Support simulation-based and experiential learning opportunities. Develop and maintain an annual clinical education plan aligned with organizational priorities, regulatory requirements, workforce needs, and clinical performance opportunities. Monitor education and competency records to support regulatory and accreditation readiness. Establish measures to evaluate learner participation, knowledge acquisition, skill development, competency attainment, and program effectiveness. Analyze educational outcomes and competency data to identify opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on quality improvement, patient safety, professional development, and organizational initiatives. Participate in committees, workgroups, surveys, audits, and regulatory-readiness activities related to clinical education and workforce development. What You Bring 3-5 years of nursing experience 3-5 years of experience in clinical education, staff development, precepting, or a comparable clinical learning role 1-3 years of leadership experience Education Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution Preferred: Master's degree in nursing, education, healthcare administration, or a related field Licenses Required upon hire: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Florida Required upon hire: Valid State of Florida Class E Driver's License Certifications Required upon hire: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider certification Why This Role Matters Clinical education plays a critical role in preparing our workforce to deliver safe, effective, high-quality care.
