Job Description:

• Doing the right thing for investors is what we're all about at client, and that includes giving them the best possible user experience (UX).
• In a business like ours, built around technology, the quality of digital interactions is essential.
• As an Accessibility Tester at client, we'll look to you to champion accessible user experiences and use your expertise to ensure accessibility is built into everything we do at client.
• We're looking for an accessibility tester who understands accessibility best practices, WCAG accessibility guidelines and how to apply them to websites, mobile apps and PDFs.
• You will join a team of accessibility testers and technical subject matter experts.
• It will require a precise eye for detail, a knack for storytelling, and creativity, compassion, and problem-solving abilities.
• You'll need excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to achieve agreement with partners and stakeholders.

In this role you will:

• Conduct accessibility QA testing on websites, mobile apps, and PDFs.
• Work closely with project teams across the enterprise to build out accessible systems.
• Partner with and guide writers, designers, and developers on accessible implementation.
• Ensure designs are inclusive and meet accessibility requirements.
• Defines, plans, coordinates, and executes department projects as part of an overall initiative.
• Gathers data and information and provides analysis.
• Leads or participates in meetings and presentations with the project team, internal business clients and the management team.
• Support the creation of education materials for clients and internal employees.

What it takes:

• 4+ years of related work experience.
• Undergraduate degree and/or equivalent combination of training and experience in a creative or technical field.
• Demonstrates business acumen in Accessibility.
• Experience with Assistive technology JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver.
• Experience with accessibility automated testing tools Axe, WAVE, or ARC.
• Understanding of WCAG 2.1 Accessibility Guidelines.
• Motivated self-starter & problem solver with a desire to learn from and partner with colleagues.
• Collaborative work ethic.
• Willingness to adapt to change.
• Able to complete tasks efficiently and comfortable juggling multiple tasks at once.
• Familiar with working in an agile environment.
