The Facilities Technician performs preventative and general maintenance tasks, installations, general cleaning, and other tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Deliver internal and external guest service in accordance with company service standards.
• Performs all duties in a polite, professional, and responsible manner.
• Perform general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and dry wall repairs.
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repairs as directed.
• Complete ready repairs such as cabinet installations, restroom fixture repair, lighting fixture replacements, etc.
• Inspect and adjust property equipment as necessary.
• Collaborate with other Facilities Team Members and Departments on tasks and projects.
• Assist in the installation or relocation of equipment and property furniture.
• Uses hand tools and power tools in making maintenance repairs.
• Participates in general cleaning, painting, and repair work.
• Perform exterior maintenance, snow removal and salting as necessary.
• Attend departmental and company meetings.
• Adheres to all safety procedures and keeps work area clean of debris.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Available to work required schedule which may include night, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years' maintenance experience specializing in skills related to carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, roofing or HVAC preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
