This leadership role ensures high-quality care, regulatory compliance, and effective team coordination while fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for persons served and staff. The Residential Manager is expected to demonstrate professionalism, accountability, diligence, strong interpersonal skills, and sound judgment to promote optimal resident outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction. This position collaborates closely with interdisciplinary, support, and leadership staff to ensure efficient operations and continuity of care.Duties and Responsibilities:Oversee daily residential and facility operationsMaintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environmentMonitor census, room assignments, and program capacityCoordinate procurement of supplies, equipment, and servicesEnsure emergency procedures, drills, and required documentation are completedProvide operational support related to staffing and facility resourcesSupervises Assistant Residential Managers, Shift Supervisors, and Direct Care StaffEnsure adequate staffing coverage and maintain staff schedulesConduct staff coaching, evaluations, discipline, and trainingPromote professionalism, accountability, and person-centered careEnsure implementation of behavioral plans, therapeutic programming, and community integration activitiesOversee medication administration processes and address identified concernsMonitor documentation, incident reporting, and regulatory complianceCollaborate with clinical leadership regarding resident care and program needsEnsure compliance with AFC, CARF, payer, and company standardsParticipate in audits, inspections, and quality improvement initiativesParticipate in leadership meetings, care conferences, and treatment planningCollaborate on admissions, transitions, and discharge planningAttend medical appointments and complete required documentation as neededOversee meal planning and food budget managementParticipate in the after-hours on-call systemPerform other duties as assignedRequirements:High School Diploma or equivalentMinimum of one (1) year experience in working with developmentally disabled or catastrophically injured individuals, including traumatic brain injuryInsurable driving recordStrong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skillsAbility to prioritize tasks, work independently, and maintain attention to detailProficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR systemsCompassion and commitment to improving quality of life for persons servedAbility to pass a Level II background checkPhysical Requirements:Combination of office-based and on-site residential environmentOccasional local travel for appointments or meetingsAbility to remain in a stationary position for long periods of timeAbility to walk and stand for long periods of timeAbility to operate computers and other office machineryAbility to move objects weighing up to 50 poundsWillingness to Travel 20%Join our team and make a real difference!
