This contract opportunity is ideal for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), ready to work collaboratively with a dedicated school team near Springville, NY.
As a valued member of the student services staff, you'll provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy for students across a range of ages and needs. With your knowledge and compassion, you'll play an influential role in shaping brighter, more confident communicators.
What you'll bring:
- Active license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
- Previous school-based experience or strong clinical background with school-aged population
- Expertise in evaluation, treatment, and documentation aligned to IEP goals
- Strong collaboration and written/verbal communication skills
- Commitment to student advocacy, growth, and inclusivity
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech/language screenings and diagnostic assessments
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based therapy plans
- Deliver direct and consultative services in individual and group settings
- Prepare and maintain documentation, including progress reports and IEP data
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multi-disciplinary teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Provide resources and training to staff regarding communication disorders
