Trainee Account Manager

Location: Bristol Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £25,000 pa Overview We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Trainee Account Manager to join our growing team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in account management within the hospitality and events industry. You will provide vital support to our Account Managers with administrative tasks and on-site operations, gradually taking responsibility for managing smaller client accounts. The goal is for you to become a fully-fledged Regional Account Manager within approximately 6 months. Key Responsibilities Assist Account Managers with day-to-day client administration, including scheduling, data management and reporting. Provide on-site support at events, ensuring smooth staff check-ins, operational logistics and client satisfaction. Coordinate with recruitment teams to ensure staffing requirements are fulfilled. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and resolve any queries. Develop a strong understanding of the company’s services, policies and operational processes. Support the implementation of service improvements and client feedback initiatives. Gradually manage smaller client accounts, building relationships and ensuring excellent service delivery. Skills and Experience A proactive, flexible attitude with a willingness to learn. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organisational and time-management abilities. A keen interest in the events and hospitality industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (preferred but not essential). Must have a valid UK drivers licence and be willing to drive. A willingness to work weekends, early mornings and evenings as and when needed. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to fast-paced environments.
