Description

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for an OR Float position requiring high-capacity operating room experience and a 4x10 Day/Evening rotation schedule.

OR Float unit within a high-capacity operating room

13-week contract with 4x10 Day/Evening rotation schedule

Evening shifts run 1p-11p; day shifts run 7a-5:30p Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and 9a-7:30p Wednesday

Includes 2 weeks of night shifts per contract

Weekend scheduling includes 12-hour shifts, with 8 or 10-hour shifts during the same week to meet contracted hours

At least 2 short calls required each 4-week schedule

Uses Epic for charting

Uses UKG/Kronos for timekeeping

Requirements

CST certification through NBSTSA or NCCT required

Experience in a high-capacity operating room required

BLS certification from the American Heart Association required

Active MA license required at time of consideration; no pending licenses accepted

2 professional references required

Additional Information

Limited RTO available during winter holidays

Flu vaccine required during flu season; no religious or medical exemptions allowed

Local candidates within 60 miles of Boston, MA may be considered at a reduced rate

No validated parking available at Boston locations; public transportation or paid public parking recommended
