Press Operator (3rd Shift)

Your Opportunity Press / Print Operating Technician – North Mankato, MN Your Shift 3rd Shift; 5:00 pm – 5:00 am Rotate between the following schedules: Monday – Wednesday, with every other Sunday required Thursday – Saturday, with every other Sunday required Rotating 3‑4 day workweeks Your Responsibilities Carry out accurate and precise instructions from job orders; identify possible errors and take prompt action to correct them. Set up and adjust press for job runs to meet specifications. Monitor product quality during runs; compare detail against specifications and correct any problems. Monitor equipment; remain alert to mechanical problems and refer to maintenance as necessary. Initiate the startup and run of jobs in keeping with the production schedule. Perform routine equipment maintenance and upkeep. Meet standards for output, waste, and spoilage. Adhere to all safety guidelines; keep workspace clean and organized for efficient shift changeovers. Complete logs and paperwork accurately. Typical duties for a Manufacturing Tech III / Printer of 6+ large‑format high‑speed multi‑color and multi‑process operations. You Must Have (Core Qualifications) Mechanical and technical skills or aptitude. Basic math skills for reading rulers and calculating label dimensions for stock optimization. Ability to operate equipment to achieve proficiency measured through production and quality standards. Ability to understand verbal and written instructions for work orders. Professional communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Requirements Within This Position Communicate and exchange accurate information so others understand. Remain in a stationary position regularly. Operate machinery and handle print materials across the facility. Move within the facility frequently. Lift, push, pull, or carry up to 25 pounds regularly. Preferred Qualifications Ability to distinguish colors. Experience in a production‑related environment. Compensation Hourly range: $25.00 – $30.00, based on qualifications, experience, skills, education, and location.
