ENJOY THE BENEFITS YOU DESERVE WHILE DOING WHAT YOU LOVE: Our full-time Dental Assistants receive: Experience-based pay of $16.00 - $21.00/hour Paid lunch hour (applies toward overtime) Health insurance Employee discounts Paid, on-the-job training 4-day workweeks (only work 4 to 6 Fridays annually) 36 hours of time off after the first 90 days and 40 hours after one year Office vacation plan (up to 4.5 weeks off annually) Major holidays off and no Saturdays We prioritize work-life balance, and full-time employees often enjoy a cumulative 4.5 to 5 weeks of time off per year! What You'll Be Doing: The typical schedule is 7:20 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Thursday. Our Dental Assistants play a vital part in our day-to‑day by helping out during procedures, maintaining efficient workflows, and delivering exceptional patient care. No two days will be exactly the same as you prepare rooms and instruments for upcoming appointments, complete labwork, and help the dentist chairside. You'll contribute to our compassionate culture and help ensure patients feel calm and secure while in the chair. As instructed, you'll properly sterilize equipment, take and develop X‑rays, update patient records, and communicate treatment plans with patients. Over time, you'll develop your skills and become a more capable dentistry professional with our driven team!

WHAT YOU BRING:

Desire to learn more, grow alongside our practice, and build a long-term career here Residence in the Fishersville, Waynesboro, or Staunton area 1+ years of chairside experience as a dental assistant or similar position X-ray certification Working knowledge of general dentistry practices Strong understanding of aseptic techniques Excellent communication and collaboration skills Optimistic, team-focused attitude Bonus Qualifications Proficiency in dental software, such as Eaglesoft and CEREC Experience with intraoral scanning, implants, and sedation
