We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to join a growing manufacturing team. Key Responsibilities
- Inspect small metal parts to ensure compliance with customer and company specifications
- Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections
- Utilize CMM equipment to verify dimensions and tolerances
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and inspection requirements
- Use precision measuring equipment including:
- Height gauges
- Calipers
- Micrometers
- Document inspection results and maintain quality records
- Identify non-conforming products and communicate findings appropriately
- Work closely with production personnel to resolve quality concerns
- Support continuous improvement and quality assurance initiatives
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Quality Assurance experience (more experience preferred)
- Experience performing inspections in a manufacturing environment
- CMM inspection experience required
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and ever-changing environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to make independent judgment calls regarding product quality
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. without assistance
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience using standard inspection and measuring equipment
