Our hospital includes Surgery, Internal Medicine, the full circle support of General Practice and Wellness care, as well as Rehabilitation patients.\ N\n\n\n Overnight Veterinary Technician Duties: \ N\n

Ensure hospitalized patients are provided gold standard medical care
\ N
Recognize normal and abnormal vitals and respond appropriately
\ N
Proficiency with medical math to ensure correct dosages
\ N
Venipuncture / IVC placement when needed
\ N
Able to stay on task and work independently
\ N
Keeping an open and collaborative line of communication flowing by rounding with the daytime team to ensure smooth transition of cases
\ N
Participation in monthly technician meetings that allows time for collaboration, team building, and new protocol reviews
\ N
Providing compassionatecare for all patients
\ N
