PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Balanced Healthcare | St. Petersburg, FL

Join our in-house rehab team at a busy skilled nursing facility in St. Petersburg, FL.

We offer consistent PRN opportunities , a strong patient census , and a therapy-driven environment —so you can pick up hours without worrying about gaps in your schedule.

• Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under PT supervision

• Improve patient mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence

• Treat a high-volume SNF / long-term care (LTC) caseload

• Perform gait training, transfer training, and fall prevention interventions

• Document treatments and progress using Net Health (or similar EMR)

• Collaborate with PTs, OTs, SLPs, and nursing staff

• Long-Term Care (LTC)

• Skilled Nursing (SNF)

• Cognitive / Behavioral Health patients

• Active Florida PTA License (required)

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program

• SNF / LTC experience preferred

• Strong time management and clinical decision-making skills

• Experience with high-volume caseloads is a plus
