What We're Looking For Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active State OT license in New York required to start the assignment. Experience providing occupational therapy services in school-based settings preferred. Competence conducting evaluations, developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and writing goal-aligned treatment plans. Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary school teams, teachers, and families. Familiarity with district, state, and federal documentation requirements and timely compliant record keeping. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Strong communication and time-management skills required. Preferred: experience with assistive technology, sensory integration strategies, and classroom-based consultative models. What You'll Do Provide occupational therapy services in a school-based setting to support student participation and educational goals. Conduct evaluations and contribute to IEP development and goal setting. Deliver individualized and group therapy, and implement classroom-based interventions. Collaborate with teachers, school teams, and families to support carryover of skills. Maintain timely, compliant documentation and progress reporting per district and state requirements.
