Schedule & Facility Details

• Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours: 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation unit.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and wound care treatments.
• Monitor patient progress and document care in Meditech 5.6.
• Assist patients with rehabilitation goals and functional improvement.
• Perform bedside shift reports and hourly rounding.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge goals.
• Float to similar units as needed per facility policy.

Required Skills

• Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation experience.
• Medical-Surgical nursing experience (required).
• Familiarity with FIM (Functional Independence Measure) and CARE Tool documentation.
• Wound care management.
• Blood product administration.
• Antibiotic administration.
• Line insertion and maintenance.
• Patient assessment and care planning.
• Rehabilitation-focused patient education.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Required Certifications

• Current RN License.
• BLS Certification.

Required Experience

• Previous Acute Rehab nursing experience preferred.
• Medical-Surgical nursing experience required.
• Experience caring for adult rehabilitation patients.
• Experience with patient goal setting and discharge planning.
