Our Infant Lead Teachers combine attentive care with meaningful early learning experiences. Through responsive interactions, individualized routines, sensory exploration, and movement, you’ll help infants feel safe and secure while supporting important developmental milestones. Key Responsibilities Lead daily routines in a safe and nurturing Infant classroom Support individualized feeding, diapering, sleep, and care schedules Implement age-appropriate sensory, movement, language, and early learning experiences Support physical, cognitive, language, and social-emotional development Follow appropriate safe sleep, sanitation, health, and safety practices Observe developmental progress and maintain required classroom documentation Build trusting relationships and communicate regularly with families Guide and collaborate with classroom support teachers Maintain a clean, organized, and developmentally appropriate classroom Follow Michigan childcare licensing requirements Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Previous professional infant or childcare classroom experience strongly preferred Lead Teacher experience preferred CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus Strong understanding of infant development and responsive caregiving Reliable, nurturing, patient, and team-oriented Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements What We Offer Competitive hourly pay of $17–$21 based on experience and credentials Consistent full-time Monday–Friday schedule Paid training and professional development Employee childcare discount Supportive leadership and collaborative teaching environment Opportunities for continued professional growth and advancement #J-18808-Ljbffr The Learning Experience - South Lyon Twp
