Due to increasing community needs, we are seeking to hire both general and advanced Gastroenterologists for permanent positions within a large, physician-led multispecialty group in Upstate South Carolina that operates without private equity involvement. Our Gastroenterology team consists of five physicians and nine dedicated Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), and the practice is designed for sustainable long-term success.

Practice Overview:

• Each physician is supported by two clinic APPs, one consult service APP, a scribe, a nurse, and a scheduler.
• Utilization of Epic with Abridge AI for dictation.
• This role offers a genuine growth opportunity, as incoming physicians will manage an existing patient backlog.
• Access to a collaborative subspecialty network, including colorectal, hepatology, oncology, pathology, radiology, surgical oncology, liver transplant, and bariatrics.
• Daily procedures with a forthcoming upgrade of equipment featuring AI integration and Provation software.
• A 4.5-day workweek with APPs handling first call responsibilities.
• Supported procedures include ERCP, EUS, biliary stents, double balloon enteroscopy, RFA/HALO, EndoFLIP, capsule endoscopy (three types, including AI), hydrogen breath testing, pH monitoring, esophageal manometry and dilation, among others.
