This role combines market, customer, and technical leadership to define, build, and launch AI-powered software products. Primary responsibilities include AI market analysis, product strategy, product planning, responsible AI delivery, product release and launch. WHAT YOU'LL DOMarket AnalysisAI Trend Analysis, monitoring advances in artificial intelligence, machine learning, generative AI, agentic workflows, and the evolving regulatory landscape to identify opportunities and risksDevelop hands-on, in-depth knowledge of AI products and maintain analysis of their capabilities, model approaches, data practices, strengths, and limitationsProduct StrategyConduct market research, customer interviews, and usability studies to identify high-value AI use cases and unmet needs across target segmentsEvaluate data, model, platform, security, and partner capabilities to determine the most effective path to deliver an AI solution (build, buy, or partner)Product PlanningDefine priority user workflows and translate validated problems into clear product requirements, including AI behavior, data needs, quality expectations, and human-in-the-loop experiencesDefine and manage AI product roadmaps, balancing customer value, technical feasibility, and responsible AI considerationsEstablish success metrics and evaluation plans for AI experiences, including quality, adoption, reliability, safety, and business impactPartner with engineering, data science, design, security, and legal teams to drive AI product development to on-time, high-quality completionProduct Release & LaunchLead and support customer pilots, beta testing, and launch readiness for AI-powered products and features. Document feedback, monitor quality and safety signals, and recommend improvementsTrain Sales and Partners on AI product use cases, capabilities, limitations, and responsible-use guidanceSubject Matter ExpertProvide market, solution, and responsible AI guidance to support Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Technical Support content planningOther duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's Degree in a technical, business, or related field, or equivalent professional training or certificate5-10 years of product management, software development, data, or AI/ML product experience in an enterprise software companyWorking knowledge of AI/ML and generative AI concepts, including model capabilities, limitations, evaluation, and data considerationsStrong problem-solving skills along with excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain AI concepts clearly to technical and nontechnical audiencesAbility to effectively and productively interface with customers and translate customer needs into actionable AI product requirementsExperience leading cross-functional teams that include engineering, data science or machine learning, design, security, legal, product, sales, and marketing staffCompensation: 105,000 USD - 160,000.00 USDAt Fortra, we’re breaking the attack chain.
