About the Position

Medix has partnered with a private radiology practice to find a dedicated Mammo Tech for a high-impact travel assignment in New York City. As a trusted healthcare clinician, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality diagnostic mammography while delivering compassionate patient care. In this role, you will operate modern Hologic 3D tomosynthesis mammography systems for screening and diagnostic procedures, explaining steps to patients to alleviate anxiety. Schedule Details Work Week: Four 9-hour shifts (Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM with rotating days off) Shift Hours: 9 hours per shift (36 hours per week). Responsibilities • Prepare and position patients for screening and diagnostic mammography procedures. • Operate modern Hologic 3D tomosynthesis mammography systems. • Practice radiation protection techniques and communicate clearly with patients.

Requirements

• ARRT (RT) with Mammography specialty certification (ARRT-MG)
• Active New York State RT license with IV injection permit in good standing
• Experience performing both screening and diagnostic mammography
• Active BLS certification
