Job Description

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch
• Organize and set up equipment and workstations
• Perform duties following health, food service, government and other regulations.
• Demonstrate proper equipment operation skills
• Food preparation according to written and oral instructions.
• Replenish food and maintain clean serving areas.
• Monitor food and equipment temperatures at all times.
• Perform dishwashing duties of cooking, serving and eating utensils tools.
• Set up and break down of serving areas.
• Receive, stock and rotate incoming and outgoing inventory.
• Participate in formal and informal training.
• Maintain a neat, clean and safe work environment.
• Perform related work as required
• Practice personal hygiene and proper sanitation procedures.
• Responsible for conducting quality, temperature, and inventory controls
• Perform all tasks assigned in a safe and productive manner
• Cleaning and sanitation awareness
• Ability to lift up to 40 LBS

Education and Experience

High School Graduate or equivalent (adequate education/training/experience to complete all tasks). Three years of restaurant or food service experience. Excellent work and attendance record. Knowledge of food and nutrition. General knowledge of methods used in preparing and serving. Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
