Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified Travel RN specialized in Cardiovascular Surgery (CVOR) to provide expert nursing care in a fast-paced hospital environment. This role involves supporting cardiovascular surgery patients and ensuring high-quality patient outcomes during a 13-week assignment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer preoperative and postoperative care to CVOR patients, monitoring vital signs and preparing patients for surgery.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth workflow and patient safety during procedures.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed records of care provided.
• Respond promptly to patient needs, providing appropriate interventions and updates to the healthcare team.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control procedures at all times.
• Assist in maintaining a sterile environment and preparing surgical equipment as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current state certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in cardiovascular surgery or operating room nursing.
• Strong knowledge of CVOR procedures, patient care standards, and surgical instrumentation.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
• Willingness to work scheduled hours, including weekends and holidays, in rotation with staff.
