Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer)

An exciting permanent opportunity has opened for an experienced Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) with a hospital client in Liberal, KS where you will operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• National certification in specialty from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
• ARDMS (RVT) required.
• Minimum 1 year experience preferred as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer.
• BLS certification.
• Experience using Samsung ultrasound systems.
• Experience with HIS/RIS (Meditech) and PACS (NovaPACS) preferred.
• Experience working with offsite radiologist workflow and performing approximately 1215 patients per day.
• Ability to participate in rotating on-call coverage for nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to adhere to facility appearance policy: minimal jewelry; no visible face or body piercings outside of traditional ear piercings and small nose studs while on duty.
• Relocation documentation required to receive relocation bonus.

• Shift name: Flex Shifts. Shift pattern: variable; typically 3 x 12-hour shifts with rotating call requirements.
• Weekend requirements: rotating on-call every other weekend; on-call only when scheduled.
• Holiday requirements: rotating on-call schedule.
• Typical patient volume: approximately 1215 patients per day.
• Imaging equipment: Samsung ultrasound machines.
• Systems: HIS/RIS Meditech; PACS NovaPACS.
• Radiology support: offsite radiologist interpretation.
