Hourly wage is dependent upon prior experience, skill level, shift differentials, and incentives. The hourly wage for these roles may exceed the range listed.

We are offering a $1,000 sign-on-bonus to new hires for our Machine Operator roles!

Machine Operator

F3 Metalworx is a growing sheet metal fabrication company looking to add developing and highly skilled CNC Machine Operators to our North East, PA (12069 East Main Rd. North East, PA 16428) and Erie, PA teams (2731 West 11th St. Erie, PA 16505). The ideal CNC Machine Operator has hands-on experience operating a CNC punch, press brake, or laser machine and takes pride in producing precise, high-quality parts. 1st and 2nd shift availability.

Pay depends on prior experience and skill level. Open to training the right candidates. Preference for and machine setup/programming experience with one or more of these machines.

REQUIREMENTS :

• 1+ years of experience operating one or more of the following: CNC lasers, punch presses, press brakes in a sheet metal environment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• CNC programming experience (Trumpf, Amada, Accupress, Cincinnati, Bystronic, or similar) is a PLUS!
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• For developing candidates- eagerness to learn and a keen eye for detail
• For more senior/experienced candidates - willingness to train and mentor junior operators as needed

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Set up and operate CNC machines to shape sheet metal parts to spec
• Perform in-process quality checks to maintain tight tolerances
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and support a safe, organized shop floor as a CNC Machine Operator
• Maintain accurate parts and motivation for routine repetitive jobs
• Communicate production-related items to next shift operators or supervisors

Experience with one of the following machines:

• Press Brake Operator: 1 year (Preferred)
• CNC punch press: 1 year (Preferred)
• CNC laser: 1 year (Preferred)
