Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a contract opportunity in a rehabilitation setting. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans, assist patients in improving mobility and functional independence, and support rehabilitation goals through evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

• Pay Rate: $39.00 - $45.50 per hour

REQUIREMENTS

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License in good standing
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Previous experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, outpatient, acute care, or home health settings preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to provide patient-centered care in a team-oriented environment
• Knowledge of therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and rehabilitation techniques
• Excellent documentation and organizational skills

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, balance training, gait training, and mobility activities
• Monitor patient progress and communicate findings to the Physical Therapist
• Provide functional mobility training and rehabilitation interventions
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding treatment techniques and home exercise programs
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Ensure patient safety during all therapy sessions
• Collaborate with therapists, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
• Support patients in achieving maximum functional independence and rehabilitation goals
• Adhere to all regulatory, professional, and facility standards

• Competitive pay rate of $39.00 - $45.50 per hour
