About the Role The Food Runner supports the service team by transporting dishes from the kitchen to guests’ tables, ensuring timely and accurate service. The ideal candidate is positive, quick, responsible, hands‑on, and a team player with strong communication skills. They handle multiple tasks in a friendly manner with grace and composure. Responsibilities Walk the line and deliver food and beverages to guests’ tables in a timely and accurate manner. Maintain accurate knowledge of all menu items, including allergies. Demonstrate competency in steps of service and proper professional decorum. Expedite service during busy periods while preserving quality and presentation. Memorize table numbers and seat numbers to assist in efficient service. Carry trays of plates up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods. Assist front‑of‑house staff as needed during service. Qualifications Positive, friendly disposition and smile. Strong communication skills and a team‑player attitude. Ability to walk briskly and carry 30 lb trays during a shift. Proficiency in the restaurant service steps and menu knowledge. Experience in a fast‑paced dining environment is preferred.
