Experienced Skill Enhancement Center - Workplace Coach (Mechanical) Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking an Experienced Skills Enhancement Center – Workplace Coach (level 3) to support Mechanical training within Manufacturing & Safety in Berkeley, MO! Position Responsibilities Provide coaching and instructional training for installation processes specific to mechanical installations, rigging, torque, line handling, and blueprint reading and interpretation Provide mechanical assembly practice and process expertise Conduct learning requirements analysis and establish learning objectives Test delivery environment and establish system access requirements Conduct customer workplace coaching sessions to improve individual or group performance Deploy development tools and monitor implementation and performance outcomes Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) 3+ years of experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment 3+ years of mechanical experience with an machinist, mechanic or other mechanical aptitudes Experience with components manufacturing/installation/maintenance Experience interpreting defect data and delivering coaching based on identified trends Completed a blueprint reading class Experience with aircraft unique tools such as support equipment/test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators Experience reading and interpreting technical data Ability to work any shift assigned Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) Bachelor’s Degree or higher, equivalent work experience, or equivalent military experience Experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership Experience with coaching one or more individuals at a time and providing feedback Understanding, interpreting, and delivering specific process driven instruction based on feedback from Manufacturing Operations and Quality Works well in a collaborative team environment Has the ability to adjust course in a dynamic shop floor manufacturing environment Travel This position requires travel up to 10% of the time Shift This role is primarily first shift; however, there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives Total Rewards Boeing offers a competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities.
