Payroll Manager
A well-established organization located in Harford County, MD is looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to take ownership of a high-volume, multi-state payroll operation. This is a full-time, direct hire role for someone who knows the work and is ready to lead it.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the semi-monthly payroll cycle for 500+ employees across multiple states
  • Manage benefits administration alongside state and federal tax filing requirements
  • Process and review payroll audit reports to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Maintain complete and organized payroll records and documentation
  • Serve as a resource for employee and management questions related to payroll
  • Train management on ADP system responsibilities
  • Produce payroll and staffing reports for executive leadership
  • Document and maintain payroll procedures
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-state payroll in a complex pay structure environment
  • Proficiency in Excel, including customized reporting
  • ADP Workforce Now experience preferred
