Contract | 13 Weeks | Rotating Day and/or Night Shifts

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to laboring patients throughout the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum phases
Monitor fetal heart rate patterns and maternal vital signs, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections, supporting physicians and midwives in the delivery room
Administer medications, IV fluids, and oxytocin per physician orders and unit protocols
Educate patients and families on labor progression, pain management options, and newborn care
Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic health record

Required Qualifications

Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current BLS certification
Experience in Labor & Delivery nursing
Ability to work rotating day and/or night shifts

Preferred Experience / Skills

ACLS and/or NRP certification
Experience with electronic fetal monitoring (EFM)
Prior travel or contract nursing experience
