LHH is partnering with a small organization to identify a temporary Staff Accountant for their team. This role will last for three months and be helping out with a variety of tasks in the accounting department. You will have the opportunity to work a hybrid schedule after training in their downtown Seattle, WA office, but you still need to be able to come into the office on any given weekday. The ideal candidate will have at least a year of accountant level experience and have strong communication skills since you will be supporting different team members in the department. • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
• Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Help review financial transactions for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities.
• Participate in audits and provide requested documentation.
• Collaborate with team members on special projects and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• One or more years of accounting experience or relevant internship experience.
• Understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Pay Details: $32.00 to $35.00 per hour
