The Role at a Glance:

The Sanitation Technician will be responsible for all work-related activities in relation to cleaning and sanitizing all processing equipment, floors, and drains on a nightly basis. This person must be able to work independently and efficiently.

How You’ll Create Greater Impact:

In this role, you’ll help deliver the highest quality product while upholding our unwavering commitment to animal welfare, food safety, and responsible farming. You’ll act boldly, embrace continuous improvement, and partner with teammates and customers to deliver wins.

• Turn on and prepare wash tank at the start of shift
• Ensure proper tools and supplies are available for cleaning, scraping, and inspection of the flats
• Inspect flats as they exit machine for debris, stickers, glue, or any other quality concerns
• Stack cleaned flats and label as required
• General housekeeping including cleaning eggs off the floor, organization of materials, emptying and cleaning of waste      receptacles
• Finish paperwork accurately at days end, dump waste and clean work area
• Comply with Food Safety and GMP requirements at all times 
• Follow all workplace safety procedures

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Experience in a processing environment preferred
• Cleaning experience preferred

Work Schedule & Hours:

• 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
• 3rd Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:30 PM – 5:00 AM
• Shifts up to 12 hours per day, based on operational needs
• Start and end times may vary due to truck arrivals, order fulfillment, machine downtime, or production changes
• Flexibility required to adjust schedule as needed
