Evening Shift - Supervisor Clinical Laboratory-Kelsey Seybold Clinic: North Houston Campus

Laboratory Supervisor The Laboratory Supervisor will function under the direction of the Laboratory Manager and is responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities in the laboratory, including supervision of personnel, quality assurance, and overseeing the collection, analysis, and use of laboratory data. The position requires travel to different sites. Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day laboratory operations. Supervise laboratory personnel. Ensure quality assurance principles and proficiency testing procedures. Travel to multiple sites as required. Qualifications Associates or Bachelor's degree in a science related field. MLT/MT ASCP or equivalent. 5+ years of recent clinical laboratory experience in chemistry, hematology, diagnostic immunology, and urinalysis. 2+ years in a leadership role in a clinical laboratory setting. Understanding of laboratory operations, policies and procedures. Knowledge of quality control, quality assurance principles and proficiency testing procedures. Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Office and Laboratory Information Systems skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Strong communication, customer service and leadership skills. Flexibility to travel to various sites. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science. 2+ years of experience training others in related work areas. Pay and Benefits The salary for this role will range from $72,800 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment.
