Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

$1713.60/week -

Job Summary:

Provides comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room setting. Responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and compassionate care while coordinating with the medical team and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patient condition promptly upon arrival and develop individualized care plans.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications, treatments, and interventions following physician orders and established guidelines.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient status continuously, recognizing and responding to changes in clinical condition swiftly.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and discharge instructions.
  
  
• 
  Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient progress, diagnostic results, and clinical concerns.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with hospital policies, EMTALA regulations, and confidentiality standards.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a current and valid state RN license.
  
  
• 
  Obtain and maintain BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Preferably possess NIHSS or Stroke Certification.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate clinical competency in emergency nursing, including rapid assessment and intervention skills.
  
  
• 
  Have recent experience working in an ER or high-acuity setting.
  
  
• 
  Be vaccinated against COVID-19, including boosters, with BVP (MAB) training preferred.
