Overview
Cardiovascular Technologist – OR CVOR Tech in Kansas City, KS, starting 08/23/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $2,169 to $2,285 per week. Guaranteed hours are not provided. Shift is 4x10-hour days.

Responsibilities
- Provide circulating and scrub support for cardiac surgeries in the CVOR, maintaining sterile technique and instrument readiness
- Assist the surgical team with case setup, relay of instruments, counts, and equipment readiness throughout procedures
- Manage patient positioning and operative field integrity; anticipate needs of the circulating nurse and surgeon to support safe outcomes
- Float to assigned CVOR areas as needed and support interdisciplinary teams while upholding safety standards
- Participate in on-call duties and holiday rotations as assigned; typical rotation includes 1 weekend per month

Requirements
- Active CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) license
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience in a level 1 trauma center
- Previous circulating experience and recent strong scrub experience on cardiac surgeries
- CVOR questionnaire required for every submittal
- Credentialing expectations: CBC, DS, and lab work must be completed within 72 hours of offer acceptance
- Ability to work 4x10-hour days in a travel assignment and participate in required orientation
