Senior Production Specialist – Lexington Underwriting At AIG, we are reimagining the way we help customers manage risk. Join us as a Senior Production Specialist to play your part in that transformation. Responsibilities Market and underwrite acceptable business in accordance with established underwriting guidelines. Demonstrate leadership capabilities within the department. Independently select, monitor, and price new and renewal business per company guidelines and authorizations. Market products and services and travel with assigned agents as required. Communicate with agents regarding rating, underwriting, and policy issuance issues. Assist in training support staff and coordinate special projects such as revised forms, new coverages/classes, research, and underwriting guide revisions. Assist in planning, coordinating, and implementing in‑house education training or other company functions. Represent the company professionally at industry events, conventions, and corporate events. Qualifications Undergraduate degree. Minimum 3 years of commercial insurance experience in a company, agency, or brokerage. Proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships. Working knowledge of U.S. casualty lines, product features, forms, regulatory environments, and risks; knowledge of underwriting construction business is beneficial. Demonstrated sales, marketing, and relationship building experience, ideally with the wholesale marketplace. Ability to work in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment and collaborate with a wide range of colleagues. Willingness to be flexible, learn on the job. Comfort with analytical tools and technology.
