Unit Overview

  • 42-bed acute care unit (Neuro Ortho)
  • Comprehensive Stroke Unit Level IV
  • Epilepsy Center
  • Patient population includes: Stroke and neurologic conditions Traumatic brain injury Spine and orthopedic surgery patients

  • Provide patient-centered care for neuro, trauma, and post-operative patients
  • Monitor and assess complex neurologic conditions
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
  • BLS
  • Current state nursing license.
  • Prefer one year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities
