Job Title: Travel RN - OR Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital experience License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS & ACLS Must-Have: Candidates must have a minimum of 1-year current acute care hospital experience. BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Description: This is a travel position for a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. The role requires functioning in multiple service lines including Orthopedic, ENT, Urology, Spine, General, GYN, Endoscopy, Plastics, and Cardiac. The unit has 8 operating rooms and a supportive team of diverse professionals. Staffing includes Charge RNs, RNs, CST, and Anesthesia personnel. Patient ratios are 1:1, ensuring optimal care delivery. All types of surgical equipment are utilized, including Belmont rapid infusion systems. Candidates with Meditech experience and skills in transplant and spine procedures will be prioritized. Good teamwork with providers and staff is essential for success in this role. The on-call response time requirement is 30 minutes, with variable call schedules over an 8-week period. Ideal candidates will possess strong patient care experience and adaptability.
