**Job Title: Counter Server** 

**Location: 9240 W Northern Ave, Peoria, AZ** 

**Position Type: Part-Time/Full-Time** 

Wage: $12.15 per hour + tips

**Job Description:**

Streets of New York is a casual pizza restaurant serving Arizona for almost 50 years! We are on the lookout for enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Counter Servers. As a Counter Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests. If you have a passion for food and customer service, we want to hear from you!

**Responsibilities:**  

- Greet guests in a friendly, welcoming and professional manner.

- Answer incoming calls and take orders or answer questions while providing excellent customer service.

- Be knowledgeable on all menu items and be able to help guests with placing orders based on their tastes, preferences, diets or allergies.

- Be knowledgeable on all current promotions, specials and offers, and be able to apply them in accordance with our policies.

- Accept and process payments.

- Assist team members as needed in the dining room.

- Provide guests with a positive experience that promotes repeat business and continued patronage.

- Retrieve guests and delivery service pick up orders, paying close attention to detail so orders are accurate.

- Light lifting to stock products or cleaning and maintenance of the dining room.

**Requirements:**

- Must be at least 16 years old.

- Must have a current Maricopa County Food Handler’s Card or willingness to acquire one before starting.

-Exceptional interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.

-Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

- Strong communication skills.

- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions.

- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 pounds.

-Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

- Must be authorized to work in the United States, will be submitted through E-Verify
