Regional Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Ann Arbor, MI by HMD Trucking
$25 per hourHMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

- Empty Miles: Paid at the same CPM as loaded miles (company drivers only)
- Extra Stops: $50 per additional stop
- Detention Pay: $25 per hour after the first 2 hours
- Layover Pay: $175 for every 24 hours
- Orientation Pay: $150
Based in Ann Arbor, MI, HMD Trucking provides regional dry‑van routes across the Midwest, with many lanes running through Chicago and nearby distribution centers. The schedule prioritizes weekly home time and transparent, mileage‑based pay.
Primary responsibilities:
- Operate dry‑van tractor‑trailers to transport and deliver freight safely and punctually.
- Perform thorough pre/post‑trip inspections, keep accurate logbooks, and meet DOT compliance.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL-A and a minimum of 12 months verifiable commercial driving experience.
HMD offers access to a 500+ modern fleet, $0.70 per mile, a $2,500 sign‑on bonus, and benefits including health coverage and retirement savings.
