Experience and Education

Required Education: Graduate of an approved/accredited nursing program either by a governmental authority, nursing board and 1 year of RN experience. Licenses and Certifications (NLC): NURSING LICENSURE COMPACT-BNE Upon Hire and (ACLS) ADV CARDIAC LIFE SUPPORT course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC). Required for NSICU, MICU, SICU, CVICU, EM, Labor & Delivery, and Rapid Response Team Upon Hire and (BLS) BASIC LIFE SUPPORT Required for NSICU, MICU, SICU, NICU, CVICU, EM, Labor & Delivery, and Rapid Response Team Upon Hire and (NIHSS) Natl Inst Health Stroke Scale Required for NSICU, MICU, EM, and Rapid Response Team Upon Hire and (CPI) CRISIS PREVENTION INSTITUT CER Required for EM within 180 Days and (TNCC) TRAUMA NURSING CORE COURS Required for EM within 1-1/2 Yrs and (PALS) PEDS ADVANCED LIFE SUPPOR Required for EM within 1-1/2 Yrs and (PALS) PEDS ADVANCED LIFE SUPPOR Required for Rapid Response Team Upon Hire and (NRP) NEONATAL RESUSCITATION Required for Labor & Delivery Upon Hire and Required for Labor & Delivery: AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, and all L&D RN competencies Upon Hire Preferred Education Bachelor's Degree BSN Experience 3 or more years Emergency Department experience
