Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit
Schedule: Nights Shift options: 36 or 48 hours
Assignment Details: Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week
Requirements: 1+ years of cardiovascular/PCU step-down experience required - BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required; CPI preferred - Experience with Epic charting system - Skills in cardiac telemetry monitoring, post-cardiac care, and management of dysrhythmias
Roles & Responsibilities: Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiovascular diagnoses. Monitor telemetry and manage cardiac-related treatments and interventions. Administer medications and manage IV therapies as needed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care. Conduct assessments and adjust care plans in response to patient needs. Support patients and families in understanding conditions and treatment plans.
Compliance / Notes: Orientation: 24 hours onsite - Pending licenses accepted, but must be obtained prior to start - Local candidates not accepted due to policy limitations
