Are you passionate about improving auditory health and enhancing quality of life? MultiCare Yakima is seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Audiologist to join our vibrant clinic team. In this pivotal role, you'll employ your expertise to diagnose, treat, and guide patients of all ages through their hearing health journeys. Your work will directly impact our community by restoring and improving hearing capabilities, ensuring patients regain confidence and connection with the world around them. What You'll Bring to the Role: Strong diagnostic skills in audiometry, including pure tone, speech audiometry, and impedance testing. Ability to interpret complex test results and communicate findings effectively to both patients and physicians. Expertise in recommending appropriate medical follow-ups, hearing aids, ear protection, and other interventions. Experience in conducting thorough hearing aid evaluations and fittings, with an emphasis on personalized patient education. Excellent troubleshooting skills for hearing aids and related devices. Additional Skills That Set You Apart: Bilingual abilities or additional languages to serve diverse populations. Experience with advanced audiology software and tele-audiology platforms. Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to patient care. Preferred Education & Experience: Active Washington State Audiologist License (required). Master's or Doctorate Degree in Audiology from an accredited institution, including clinical practicum experience. Certification of Clinical Competency in Audiology (CCC-A) or equivalent (preferred). Current BLS certification. Other Requirements: Willingness to work Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Commitment to ongoing professional development.
